Tina Zimmerman

Pastor Tina Zimmerman is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church.  A graduate of Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois, Tina has a passion for following God’s call and helping others to discern God’s call.  

Before coming to serve as pastor at Jonesville UMC in 2022, she served as Associate Director of Spiritual Life (Chaplain) at the Chelsea Retirement Community in Chelsea, MI. She has been a long-time Christian educator, and has taught all ages of people seeking to find a deeper love of God and neighbor.  

She has specialized training in Christian education, personal coaching, and pastoral care for families of those with dementia. She also has done work with adults who are seeking recovery from childhood trauma.  She loves being pastor at Jonesville UMC.

Tina and her husband, Gregg have been married for 40+ years and have four grown children and two grandchildren.   She enjoys writing, storytelling, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
